Sentence Structure
How subject, verb, and object work in Arabic and how to break down Quranic verses into understandable parts.

FAQs About Learning Quranic Arabic in Spain
Is this Modern Arabic?
No. This course teaches Quranic (Classical) Arabic—the language of the Quran. It is not the same as Modern Standard Arabic or spoken dialects used in daily conversation. We focus on vocabulary, grammar, and structure that help you understand the Quran.
How long does it take to understand Quran basics?
It depends on how often you attend classes and how much you practise. Many students start recognising common words and simple sentence patterns within a few months. Deeper understanding of more verses builds over time with regular study.
Is memorization required?
No. This course is about understanding the language of the Quran, not memorising it. You will learn vocabulary and grammar so you can understand verses. Memorisation (Hifz) is a separate course if you want it.
Can beginners join?
Yes. Beginners can join. Being able to read Arabic script (e.g. after completing Qaida) is helpful but not always required—we can adjust. If you cannot read Arabic yet, we may suggest starting with our Qaida course first.
