Qaida is one of six course types we teach in Bradford (with Tajweed, Hifz, Quran Recitation, Translation and Quranic Arabic). In this course you learn Arabic letters, correct sounds and how letters join using Noorani or Madani Qaida—all one-to-one online. Built for children and adults who are starting from the beginning or need a clear reset.
In Bradford we teach Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz, Quran Recitation, Translation and Quranic Arabic as separate one-to-one courses. Qaida is the usual first step: it fixes letters and reading before you move into tajweed rules or longer recitation.
Families in Manningham, Little Horton, Shipley, Eccleshill, Thornton, Clayton, Girlington, Barkerend and Wibsey often book after school, evenings or weekends. The class is live online from your home; the tutor watches how you form each letter and sound.
See every course on our Bradford Quran classes page.
Teachers used to UK learners and slow, clear pacing
Pick slots around school runs and shift patterns
No travel across town in the cold or after dark
Every minute is for you or your child—not a shared screen
Noorani Qaida is a step-by-step book: single letters first, then compounds, then words. It suits learners who like a fixed order and lots of repetition until each shape sticks.
Parents in Great Horton, Tong and Queensbury often pick Noorani when a child mixes up similar letters—we slow down and drill only what is weak before moving on.
Madani Qaida teaches the same skills with a different page layout and exercise style. Some younger children find the pages easier to follow; adults sometimes like the pace of the drills.
If your masjid or relative used one book already, tell us—we can match that so home and class use the same terms. Learners in Idle, Allerton and Low Moor often ask for this.
At the free trial we listen to you or your child read (or start from zero) and say whether Noorani or Madani Qaida fits better. You are not locked in: if one book feels heavy, we adjust. The goal is the same—clean letters and sound—before you move to Tajweed or Recitation with us.
Qaida is the first step for many; the other five courses sit on our Bradford Quran classes hub. For other towns see UK cities.
Children in BD3, BD7 and BD8 postcodes often need short lessons after school; adults sometimes want a late slot after work. One-to-one means we repeat a letter ten times if needed—no one is left behind because the rest of a group moved on.
We use the screen to point at the letter, hear the child copy, then try a word. Praise is specific (“that ra is clear now”) so they know what improved. Short breaks keep attention fresh.
If you never finished Qaida or forgot over the years, we rebuild from the letters you still know and fill the gaps. The tutor speaks in English or Urdu as you prefer for short explanations.
You need to hear the difference between similar letters. We check your microphone and line, then drill sounds until throat and tongue position feel natural—not rushed.
Noorani or Madani Qaida both lead to the same skill: reading the Quran’s script. We pick the book that matches age, attention span and what you already have at home.
Early morning before work, after maghrib, or Sunday blocks—we fit around salah and school. Tell us your area when you book so we know your rough timezone habits.
We teach learners from Manningham, Shipley, Thornton, Eccleshill, Little Horton, Girlington and the rest of the district—online means no school-run to a different suburb for one class.
Our online Qaida classes offer real-time interaction with your tutor. Bradford students can see and hear everything clearly, making it feel like a traditional classroom experience from the comfort of home. This is especially helpful for young children who learn better with visual and audio engagement.
The tutor sets a small practice target (which letters or lines to repeat). If you miss a week, the next lesson picks up without blame. Parents get a short summary of what to listen for at home.
Our tutors provide ongoing feedback on pronunciation and reading skills. Parents in Bradford receive regular updates on their children's progress, keeping you informed every step of the way. We celebrate small achievements to keep motivation high.
No need to drive across Bradford for one lesson. Children stay in a familiar room; adults save the commute. You still get live correction and the full path from Qaida through to our other five courses when you are ready.
The list below is the usual order. Pupils in Frizinghall, Saltaire and Bingley sometimes skip ahead on letters they already know; we adjust so time is not wasted.
Learn all 28 Arabic letters and their different forms. Understand basic shapes and sounds through straightforward practice exercises designed for beginners.
Understand proper pronunciation techniques for each letter. Learn correct mouth and tongue positions for clear and accurate sounds when reading.
Learn Fatha, Kasra, Damma and additional vowel marks. Practice reading basic words and simple phrases with accurate pronunciation and understanding.
Same monthly structure as our other one-to-one courses—clear costs for households in Laisterdyke, Undercliffe, Odsal and across the city.

We look at attention span at the trial. Some four-year-olds manage twenty minutes; others do better at five. We shorten the lesson rather than push a tired child.
Yes—tell us when you book. Sisters and girls often prefer a female teacher; we match where availability allows.
When letters and basic joining are stable, we open our Bradford Tajweed course for rules in the mushaf. We do not skip Qaida if reading is still guessing.
For Qaida, the tutor must see your mouth and hear each letter. We set the camera angle once; after that it works well for families in Buttershaw, Ravenscliffe and other streets where evening travel is slow.
Whether you are in Cullingworth, Denholme, Wyke, Holme Wood or central Bradford, the trial is the same: we hear you read, pick Noorani or Madani Qaida, and show how Qaida links to our other five courses.
