Key Tajweed Topics We Cover
We cover the main Tajweed rules in a clear order so students in Germany can apply them when they read. Topics include:
- • Makharij — Where each letter is produced in the mouth and throat so sounds are clear and distinct.
- • Sifaat — Qualities of letters (e.g. heavy/light, with or without breath) so pronunciation matches the rule.
- • Noon and Meem rules — Idhaar, Idghaam, Iqlab, Ikhfa for Noon Saakin and Tanween; equivalent rules for Meem.
- • Idgham and Ikhfa — When to merge or hide sounds and how to do it correctly in recitation.
- • Madd — Lengthening (natural, compulsory, and optional) so timing is correct.
- • Practical application — Using these rules while reading from the Quran, not only in isolation.
Practical Learning Structure
Each topic is taught in a consistent way so students know what to expect:
- • Rule explanation — The tutor explains the rule in simple English with the Arabic terms.
- • Examples from the Quran — We point to real verses where the rule appears so it is clear in context.
- • Drill practice — Short exercises on that rule (repeating words or lines) until it feels natural.
- • Correction — The tutor corrects mistakes gently and repeats the correct pronunciation.
- • Applied recitation — The student reads a short passage applying the rule, then we move to the next topic or verse.
Tools & Teaching Techniques
We use tools that work well online so students in Germany get clear feedback:
- • Screen annotation — The tutor can mark the Quran page on screen (e.g. circle a letter or underline a Madd) so the student sees exactly where the rule applies.
- • Audio repetition — The tutor reads; the student repeats. We go slow at first, then build to normal speed.
- • Slow-to-normal recitation practice — We practise difficult words or lines slowly, then speed up once the rule is applied correctly.
- • Error logs — We keep a simple note of recurring mistakes (e.g. a specific Madd or Ikhfa) so we can revisit them in future sessions.
Class Recommendations
For steady improvement we usually recommend 45-minute classes so there is time for rule explanation, examples, and practice. 2–3 classes per week works well so rules are revised often and applied in recitation.
We offer adult-friendly options: evening and weekend slots that fit around work in Germany. Adults can choose 30 or 45 minutes depending on how much time they have; we adjust the pace and content to your level.
Tajweed for Different Student Levels
Beginner Tajweed — For students who have just finished Qaida or can read but have not learned rules. We start with makharij and basic letter qualities, then short rules (e.g. Noon Saakin) so they build confidence.
Intermediate application — For those who know the main rules but need to apply them consistently while reading. We focus on correction, drills on weak points, and reading longer passages with the tutor.
Advanced refinement — For students who recite well and want to polish specific areas (e.g. Madd lengths, rare rules, or fluency). We target those areas and keep recitation at a higher level.
Related Courses & Pathway
Tajweed supports other Quran studies. Students in Germany often combine or continue with these one-to-one courses.

FAQs — Tajweed in Germany
Is Tajweed taught from the basics in Germany?
We assume students can already read the Quran (letters and harakat). From there we teach Tajweed rules step by step: correct articulation (makharij), letter qualities (sifaat), then rules like Noon/Meem, Idgham, Ikhfa, and Madd. If your child has just finished Qaida, we can still start with beginner Tajweed and build from there.
Can adults join evening Tajweed slots in Germany?
Yes. We offer evening and weekend slots to suit German work and school hours. Adults in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, and across Germany can book one-to-one Tajweed classes at times that fit their schedule. Tell us your preferred times when you message us on WhatsApp.
How are pronunciation mistakes corrected in online Tajweed?
The tutor listens to your recitation and corrects in real time: they may repeat the correct sound, use screen annotation to show where the rule applies, and give short drills on that point. We keep a simple note of repeated errors so we can revisit them in later sessions. Correction is gentle and clear so students know what to change without feeling discouraged.
