- • Sustainable routines — We keep the pace and amount of new material manageable so the child can maintain daily revision at home without burnout.
Typical Session Format
A typical Hifz session in France runs in this order:
- • Revision — The student recites what was memorized previously (recent pages and/or older portions).
- • New memorization — The tutor teaches the next section line by line; the student repeats and memorizes.
- • Recitation — The student recites the new portion on their own so we confirm it is correct.
- • Feedback and short at-home practice — The tutor corrects any errors and suggests a short focus for practice at home before the next class.
Parental Guidance & Progress Notes
Parents receive updates after classes or via WhatsApp: what was revised, what was memorized, and what to practise at home. We suggest home schedules (e.g. 10–15 minutes of revision daily, which pages to cover on which days) so progress in France is consistent. Progress notes are short and practical so you know how your child is doing and how to support revision.
Learning Pace Options & Flexibility
Pacing is adjusted to your child's capacity. Some students move faster through new verses; others need more time on revision. We offer options for slower or more frequent sessions—for example, fewer new lines per week with more revision time, or extra classes when the family wants to push ahead. We keep parents informed so expectations are clear.

We use simple tools to support memorization and revision:

- • Handwritten notes — The tutor may keep brief notes on weak spots or repeated mistakes so we target those in the next class; parents can use simple notes at home to track what to revise.

How are missed lessons handled for Hifz in France?
If you need to miss a class (e.g. school trip or illness), message us on WhatsApp and we will try to offer an alternative slot in the same week or the next. We do not guarantee a make-up for every absence, but we work with families in France to keep pacing steady. For planned holidays, tell us in advance so we can suggest a light revision plan while you are away.
What practice routine do you recommend at home?
We usually suggest 10–15 minutes of daily revision: reciting the most recent pages and rotating older portions so nothing is left too long without practice. The tutor will tell you which pages to focus on and can provide a simple revision timetable. Consistency matters more than length—short daily practice works better than long, irregular sessions.
What device or connection do we need for online Hifz in France?
You need a device with camera and microphone (laptop, tablet, or phone) and stable internet. Normal home broadband in France is usually enough. We use screen sharing so the student can see the same Quran page as the tutor. If the connection is weak, we can switch to audio-only so recitation and correction continue.
